Life, Explained
Questions for the Master explores the questions that touch every part of our lives: relationships, family, work, money, self-esteem, jealousy, attachment, happiness, and personal growth.
People from all walks of life bring their real questions and struggles to Master Cheon Gong, whom his students call Seuseungnim, or Great Mentor. As a Korean teacher, Seuseungnim offers a deeper perspective on why difficulties arise in our lives, what they may be teaching us, and how we can grow through them.
Through the teachings of Jungbub, Seuseungnim explains the principles of human relationships, society, and Grand Nature in practical ways that can be applied to everyday life.
Each episode begins with a question: sometimes deeply personal, sometimes universal, and invites us to look beyond the problem itself to discover a deeper understanding of our lives and circumstances.
These lectures have been carefully translated, proofread, and dubbed into English so that Seuseungnim's teachings can be shared with listeners around the world.

I Lost My Unborn Child

What happens, according to Jungbub, when a baby dies before birth? And how should a mother understand her relationship with the soul of the child she lost?
In this episode, a mother shares the deeply personal experience of losing her first child to a heart condition at six months of pregnancy. She asks Seuseungnim whether there was something she should have understood or reflected upon after the loss.
Seuseungnim responds by explaining Jungbub’s teachings about the soul’s journey toward the physical body and what is believed to occur when that journey has already begun but the child’s body is no longer available. He teaches that such a soul may remain close to the mother and that its presence should not be approached with fear.
Rather than viewing these souls negatively, Seuseungnim encourages understanding, compassion, and guidance. He explains that human beings should learn how to relate properly to the spiritual beings around them, including ancestors and other souls, and emphasizes the precious significance of being born into a human body.
For a mother carrying sorrow, regret, or fear after losing an unborn child, this teaching presents a spiritual perspective centered not on rejection or fear, but on understanding what has happened, acknowledging the child with compassion, and continuing to study and grow together.
